Clifford H. Sexton a long time resident of Zellwood Station passed away quietly on April 30, 2011. He was born in Lowder, Illinois March 4, 1923. He was married to Alma Garman on July 16, 1941. They resided in Waverly, Illinois until moving to Orlando, Florida in 1957. He served in the United States Navy in the South Pacific during WW2. After moving to Orlando he was a building contractor. In 1964 he retired after a construction accident left him without his sight. After the passing of his 1st wife Alma he married Dorcus Eidson on April 1st 2005, they remained married until his passing. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Apopka, Florida.
He is survived by his wife Dorcus Eidson, brothers Kenneth and Lyndell, sisters Alta Van Huss and Letha Adcock, Son Larry Sexton and Daughter Vickie Limpus, Daughter In Law Cindy Sexton and Son In Law Jim Limpus, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his bothers Wilburn and David, sisters Elizabeth Sexton and Georgia Lou Van Huss, son James Sexton and his grandson David Lewis. We will all miss him dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held May 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Funeral Home. There will be a reception following, at Zellwood Station.
