

Crisantemo “Cris” T. Concepcion, 77, of Winter Garden, FL went home to be with Jesus on August 20, 2021. He was born in the Philippines and raised in Metro Manila. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1964 and worked as a steward for the Admiral. He received a National Defense Service Medal for his time in the Navy. He married his beloved, Rita Linda, in the Philippines and was stationed in the East Coast. After his children, Chazzalynde and Christian, were born he moved his family to CA where he worked in the banking and consulting industry. It was in CA that he met the Lord in 1980 and changed his outlook on life. Upon retirement, Cris and Rita Linda moved to FL. He worked for Walt Disney World as a Cast Member. He had a love of learning, cooking creative food, singing songs about his Lord, dancing with Mom, and most importantly was his relationship with Jesus. He was proud to be an American and grateful for the freedom to live the American dream. Cris was preceded in death by his parents, Illuminado, Sr. and Esther Concepcion, and his siblings, Maria Purisima Arcega and Illuminado T. Concepcion, Jr. Cris is survived by his wife, Rita Linda; his daughter, Chazzalynde (Scott) Mathemeier, and grandchildren, Eric and Evangeline; his son, Christian (Patricia) Concepcion; siblings Apolinario (Luzminda) Concepcion; Benifreada (Danilo) Cruz; Estrellita (William) Boggess; brother-in-law, Rogelio Arcega, and sister-in-law, Flordeliza Concepcion; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Gotha, FL on November 26, 2021. Cris will be interred at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery immediately following the memorial service.
