Daphne D. Cruciger, 82, of Saint Augustine, FL passed away on December 23, 2017. She was born on May 8, 1935 in Hartford, CT to the late William James Derick and Louise Danford Miller. Daphne was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, worked with USA Swimming for many years, and loved collecting pelicans, watching old westerns, going to the beach, reading, working on puzzles, and gardening. She was preceded in death by: her loving husband, Alfred Jordan Cruciger and parents, William James and Louise Danford Derick. Daphne is survived by: children, David Allen Cruciger, Brian Alfred Cruciger, and Katherine Louise O’Grady; brother, Dale Edwin Derick; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Services will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Gotha, FL on Thursday, December 28, 2017 with a Visitation at 10:00am and a Funeral Service at 11:00am.
