Dorothy (Dottie) Norman Trent passed away peacefully on 5/26/22 surrounded by her daughter-in-law, niece and granddaughter. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings and all of her children (Donald Wood, Teresa Miller, Nancy Frye and Terrence (Teddy) Wood). She is survived by her daughter in law, Jo Ann Wood-Voss, her granddaughters, Celena Frazier (James), Elizabeth Pritchard (Mike), Cari Wood, Justina Mobley (Brandy) and her sweet pup “Holly”.
Dottie was born on 3/20/29 in a small town in North Florida called Heilbron Springs in her parent’s small home. She was raised on their farm and went on in life to marry her first husband, Terry Wood and together they had five children.
Dottie worked several jobs as she aged, most in doctor’s offices. She had been retired for 30 years.
Services will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, on Thursday June 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, graveside ceremony immediately after the service.
