Divine Word Hospital (St. Paul's Hospital) of Tacloban City, Leyte, Philippines honours Dr. Uy Ping S. Go. The best doctor that DWH ever had.  Holy Mass was offered for his eternal repose and his picture decorated with flowers (in loving memory) will be displayed for 9 days at the hospital lobby. We lost a good good man, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO DWH FOR 20 YEARS AS MEDICAL DIRECTOR AND MAY YOU REST IN PEACE. Our deepest condolences to the family.

My family chose him to be our doctor at St. Paul's Hospital.  We trusted him completely. And I'm sure he didn't know that he made me laugh at myself.  One time when there were cases of laryngitis among friends and acquaintances and I was hoarse, I went to him expecting to have it, too.  He examined my throat, then  advised me to gargle regularly and to stop scolding my students too much.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Dr. Go Uy Ping, thank you; and in God's mercy rest in peace.  Condolence to his family..

Condolence to the family of Dr. Go Uy Ping. I worked in St. Paul's Hospital while he was the Medical Director, I remember him being a good, calm, unassuming and compassionate doctor especially to the indigent patients. In my early years here in the US, a rare phone conversation with him (while he was in Chicago), had eased my feeling of homesickness. I am saddened by his passing. He will be remembered in my prayers. My thoughts and sympathy to the family. Rest in peace, Dr. Go Uy Ping!

"I mourn for the passing of my favorite doctor. He was my doctor 40 summers ago when I was diagnosed with rheumatic heart disease.  That was my first time to be hospitalized in St. Paul's Hospital not until lately. My deepest sympathies to the family of Dr. Go Uy Ping.  I remember my father's story of why I should consider him the best salesman in the world. He told me that when he suffered a massive heart attack and when he woke up, he was able to sell life insurance policy in his deathbed to his doctor which happened to be Dr. Go& that started decades of friendship with tatay Guz Arnaiz.
