Eda T. Matthews, 67 of Orlando, Florida went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 28, 2010. She was born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, West Indies on August 20, 1942 to the union of Rev. Robert C. Gordon and Sarah R. Gordon. She worked as a Dental Assistant and was a member of the West Orlando Baptist Church in Ocoee, FL.
Eda leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Louis Matthews; her loving children: Judith Leys, Kevin Matthews, Gairy Matthews and Lancelot Matthews; her brother, Kingsley Gordon; her sisters, Avis Smith and Lois Davis, her 8 loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 2, 2010 from 6 - 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 10 AM at the West Orlando Baptist Church in Ocoee, Florida. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, Florida.
