
In loving memorial of Edmund (Eddie) Huang-Jones, age 93 of Orlando, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025, at his residence. He was born March 27, 1931, in Bangor, Maine. Son of the late Wong Jack Jones and Ngan Gee Chin.
Preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Jones; three brothers, Donald Huang, Wade Huang and Raymond Huang; one sister, Fay Eng.
The family moved to Orlando in the 1950's where the family opened up the China House Restuarant. Later moved to College Park where his brother Wade and Eddie opened up the Sampan Restaurant, a family ran business.
Eddie better known as Gramps loved his family with all his heart. Always there when needed for the ones he loved. He had a great sense of humor and a practical joker; he never met a stranger. He knew everyone, had many friends and was loved by all. He will leave a tremendous void in our lives that will never be filled.
Eddie is survived by his daughter, Pamela Parks, brother, Almond Huang. Grandchildren, Skip and wife, Mara Moody, Paul and wife, Jenny Moody and Sandi Moody and husband, David Lazzaro. Nieces, Sharon and Scott McLauchlin, Judy Huang and Bruce Blackton and Sharon Huang. Nephews, Chuck and Debbie Huang and Alan and Kathy Huang. Nine great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
Eddie will be laid to rest next to his wife and there will be a family gathering celebrating his life at a later date to be determined.
