Eliska worked as a Nurse along with her husband, as a Lab Technician, and a Radiographer looking after the new born babies. She was also a housewife and a mother.
She was the mother of Dr. Michael, Dr. David and Dr. Adrian Sooknanan and Dalida Diyaljee.
Grandmother of Nadia, Sonia, Elena, Maria, Dylan, Caelan, Aviella, Kiran and Arya.
Mother-in-law of Wayne Diyaljee, Dr. Olivia Sooknanan and Anandi Sooknanan.
Sister of Dr. Maria Stratonova and Václav Zeman.
Aunt of Dr. Danka Beerova, Dr. Lenka Kubatova, Robert and Peter Zeman.

The funeral service and cremation of the late Eliska Sooknanan will take place on Saturday, March 7th in Florida.
