Elmer M. Davis, “Bill “, 90, died peacefully November 18, 2012 at his home. He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Peggy Marie Davis. Survivors include his son, Jack M. Davis (Deirdre) of Manakin-Sabot, VA.; daughter, Katherine Josephine Davis of Windermere, FL.; granddaughter, Rachel Mersey (Jason). “Bill” started his business career driving a milk truck at age 9 in Liberty Missouri; he then served his country during World War II as a Naval Aviator. Finally retiring from Dart- Kraft Corporation after 41 years as an Executive Vice President, he was also a member of First Baptist Church of Windermere. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2012, 10 am at First Baptist Church of Windermere, 300 N.
