Emily M. Williams

Emily Williams died Monday, Feb 21, 2011, at Lake Eustis Cares Center, Eustis, FL, where she had been residing for the past two years. Emily had previously resided at College Park Towers, Orlando. She was born Oct 29, 1915 in Screven County, GA. Emily was a daughter of the late Edward L. and Pauline Faust Mock. On July 13, 1936, she was united in marriage to Roscoe Williams. They were married for 25 years before Roscoe preceded her in death on March 27, 1962. She lived in Lockhart for many years and was a Christian and member of Lockhart Baptist Church for over 50 years. She is survived by her children, Margaret and Walter Kimbro of Tavares, Mary Emily Spikes of Orlando, Gail and Larry Willis of Leesburg, Jack and Nancy Williams of Sorrento and Dale Williams of Orlando, and her eighteen grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Her sisters, Lucille M Williams of Cocoa, FL and Jessie M Rought of Guyton, GA, sister-in-law Ruby B Mock of Statesboro, GA. Besides her husband, Roscoe, she was preceded in death by her sons, Roscoe Williams Jr and Bobby Dell Williams.

Funeral services for Emily will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, FL on Friday at 12:00 noon.
