

Ethel Lee Mills, 93, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2021. Ethel was born on March 19, 1928 in Orlando, to the late Mrs. Gertrude (Nee; Brown) and Mr. David Hardrick. Ethel married the love of her life; Ralph Mills Sr. on November 23, 1944 and were together until his passing in December 2011. Ethel had a passion for sewing and was an accomplished Seamstress with Frances Brewster and later with J.C. Penny for over 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering with her Church; Saint Mark AME in Orlando. She would also tend to her flowers in her garden and spend time with her family.
Ethel is predeceased by her husband, Ralph Mills Sr. and her siblings; Willie Jane Baker, David Hardrick Jr., Josephus Hardrick, Fredrick Hardrick, Josephine Thompson, Mary Olivia Davis and Gladys Hardrick.
Ethel is survived by her two children, Deborah Ann Mills and Ralph Mills Jr. and his wife, Cynthia. Her 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation for Ethel will take place on Wednesday September 8th from 6-8pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, in Gotha, Florida. A funeral service will take place on Thursday September 9th at 11am at Saint Mark AME Church in Orlando; with a committal to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
