Evelyn Lois Powers

Evelyn had a strong and abiding faith in Jesus, which guided her life and gave her comfort and strength. She was a woman of quiet grace whose life reflected her beliefs and values.

She was the proud and loving mother of two sons: Lloyd H. Powers and his wife Debbie, and Wayne Powers and his wife Becky. She was also deeply loved by Darin Perry, who was like a son to her.

Evelyn’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted grandmother to six grandchildren and was deeply proud of her eleven great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lloyd P. Powers, and her brother, Henry Hunt.

Those who knew Evelyn will remember her steady presence, caring spirit, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the love she freely gave.

Funeral services will be held on February 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, located on Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734.

Evelyn will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
