Ferron Renville Stirling

Ferron Renville Stirling, a dedicated husband and family man, passed away in Clermont, Florida, March 24, 2026 at the blessed age of ninety years. He was born in Mt. Horeb, Jamaica on February 29, 1936 to Simeon and Mary Stirling. The youngest sibling of nine, Ferron had seven sisters and one brother. He met his beloved Melrose in Montego Bay, Jamaica and they wed in 1958. At his passing, Ferron and Melrose counted 67 wonderful years of marriage.

All who knew Ferron, knew him as a gentle and kind person. He treated all with dignity and respect. He was the embodiment of the commandment “do unto others as you would have done unto you”. Ferron found solace in the simpler things in life; cataloging his music, tending his garden, cooking, and spending time with family. He smiled often, enjoyed laughter and strived to bring the same out in others.

Ferron loved his family deeply. His life was characterized by sacrifice and selflessness in support of his loved ones. Nothing else was as important. He cherished each and every member of his family and awaited any opportunity to help as he could. Ferron will be remembered for his humility, his kindness, and his love. He will be dearly missed.

A Committal Service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on April 18, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
