

Frank C. Coniglio, Sr., age 82, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012, in Apopka, Florida. Frank was born on August 2, 1930, to Charles and Frances Coniglio, in Buffalo, New York. He was married to Janice (Goodwin) on February 19, 1955, in Buffalo. They were married for 58 years before his passing. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Frank was a Captain in the Buffalo Fire Department before his retirement in 1979. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #5958 and the St. John Vianney Catholic Church. While he loved bowling, golfing, horse racing, cooking, and watching game shows, his true passion was his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 siblings. He is survived by his wife, Janice; children, Charles and his wife Charlotte, Samuel, Frank, Jr. and his wife Paula, Anthony, Sr. and his wife Pamela, and Frances and her husband Paul; his grandchildren, Angela J., Frank C., Samantha A., Sydney L., Steven F., Rachel L., Daniel P., Frank A., Samantha J., Anthony L., Jr., Christopher C., Shelby A., Stephanie E., and Sara J.; great grandchildren, Jon, Faith, Traevon “Frankie”, and Aeryana; and sisters, Josephine and Theresa.
The visitation will be on Thursday, October 4, 2012, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Friday, October 5, 2012, at 11:00 am, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Burial with military honors will be on Friday, October 5, 2012, at 3:00 pm, at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
