Gary Papa G & "The Legend" Edward Myrland

Gary Edward Myrland age 60 of Ocoee, FL passed peacefully into eternal life on Wednesday, April 27th, 2011 after a short battle with a terminal illness at his Son; Jeff's loving home. This beloved father, grandfather, friend, and co-worker was born to Carl and Caroline Koster Myrland of Stoughton, WI on October 12th, 1950. Gary is survived by 3 children; Jeffrey Myrland and wife Tiffeny of Ocoee Fl, Kristine Myrland of Endeavor, WI, and Troy Myrland of Windsor, WI. Gary was known by many grandchildren as "Papa G" including Payton, Jacob, Dylan, Frank, Francesca, Antonio, Austin, and Hannah. He was one of four children; Rosie Myrland Ace (deceased), Harlan Myrland of Los Angeles, CA, and William Myrland of Stoughton, WI. We was loved by all and will be missed tremendously.

"Papa G" was very well known in the telecommunications industry, where his career spanned 26 years, and was often referred to as "The Legend" by co workers and industry veterans. He knew the networks throughout his territory like the back of his hand. Gary was always the first one there and the last one to leave. If he said he was going to be somewhere, he was there. You could always depend on "The Legend"

Although Gary will be missed by many friends and family, a special recognition is due to faithful friend Walter McRae and his wife Linda
