

Born on May 14, 1937 to Cornelia and Alert Burkum in Solders Grove, WI, Geri moved to Rockford, IL in her teens where she graduated from West High School. In March of 1957 Geri married Bobby “Bob” Davis and began to build a family.
In 1972, Geri and family relocated to Orlando, FL where she established roots in the community, working in multiple industries, most notably with Bishops, Knickerbocker Foods, and with the IRS. She enjoyed volunteering her free time with the elementary schools and sharing her passions for arts and crafts such as silk florals, painting, and cake decorating, among others. She frequently showed at local craft shows through the 1980s and 1990s until relocating to Clermont in 2002.
Geri is survived by her three sons, Dan, Mike (Barbra), and Matt (Leigh), her six grandchildren, Danny, Krissy (Erik), Ryan, Kyle, Alyssa, and Autumn (Hunter), her Great-Grandson, Wyatt, and her sister Lori Gaddis of Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bobby, daughter-in-law Kelly, her brothers Arlo, Henry and sisters Helen, Charlotte.
The family will hold a private celebration of Geri’s life on February 19, 2022 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Geri’s name to any Cancer research society or organization.
