JACOBS, Gloria Haines, age 84, passed away on May 18, 2011. Mrs. Jacobs was born in Lancaster, PA, and has lived in Florida since the 50’s. She was a retiree of Walt Disney World, Human Resources – Benefits dept.. Gloria was also a founding member and a two term past president of Walt Disney World Golden Ears Club. She was very active in the community and had been a board member of the Central Florida Blood Bank Senior Resource Alliance and past president and Woman of the Year in the American Business Women’s Assn. She was also a registered nurse. Gloria is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Marvin Jacobs.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 25th, 2 pm at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 4851 South Apopka-Vineland Road, Orlando, FL, 32819, with a visitation beginning a half hour prior.
