Guillermo Jimenez, a retired auto mechanic and 23-year resident of Windermere, Florida, passed away on July 7, 2017 at the Mike Conley Hospice House of Cornerstone Hospice. He was 85 years old. Born May 2, 1932 in Colombia, South America, he was the son of late Carlos and Emelina Jimenez. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maria Leonor Jimenez, and his 4 children: Gladys Jimenez of Bogota, Colombia, Sandra Barragan and her husband Wolfan of Windermere, Florida, Nancy Falkena and her husband Russell of Bloomingburg, New York, and Jose William Jimenez and his wife Diana of Clermont, Florida. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Giovanni, Paola, Kevin, Fernanda, Viviana, Alida, and Brian. Lastly, he is survived by 3 great-grandchildren: Alejandra, Luna Sofia, and Valentina. Viewing will be held at the Chapel of Blessed Sacramental Catholic Church from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on July 14, 2017. Immediately following, a memorial mass will be held in the main church building at 720 12th Street, Clermont, Florida 34711.
