Henry Fred Atchison was born on November 8,1907 to Daniel and Ollie Atichson in Tenn. He was the second of nine children. Henry moved his family from Kentucky to Winter Haven, Florida in 1951. Henry, a master machinist managed an automotive machine shop. He reitred and moved to Orlando, Florida with his wife Ella Glen Grace Atchison where he worked ten more years for Scotty's Building Supply. Henry was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 75 years, Ella.He is survived by his three siblings, Robert, Tempi and Ann, his only child, Louise Atchison Stone of Altamonte Springs, Fl.,two grandchildren,Dr. Michael H. (Meg) Stone of Johnson City, Tennessee and Lori Stone Hamilton, of Kapolel, Hawaii. Five grandchildren, Michael Shannon Stone,Heather Erin Stone, Holly Hamilton Harding, Heidi Hamilton and Hillary Hamilton. Henry, a faithful member of the Church of Christ,where he served as an elder of the church in Winter Haven and was a member of the Plymouth Church of Christ, Plymouth, Florida. A visitation will be held on Friday September 30, 2011 from 3-4pm with a service to follow at 4:00pm.Arrangements entrusted to Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
