Herbert Harold Sully, of Orlando, FL, passed away March 14, 2015. He was born August 13, 1929 in Astoria , NY. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Helen T. Sully. He is survived by his children,, Theresa (Jackson) Donaldson, Fred Sully and Marianne (Brian) Symanski, two sisters, Dorothy Horn, and Kathleen (Richard) Lee, sister-in-law, Jeanette Harrington, six grandchildren eight great grandchildren and his grand-dog, Pal. After High School, he went to work at NY Telephone, where he met his wife. After marriage, they moved to Orlando in 1951, and worked at Southern Bell. During that time, he was also a Captain at Pine Hills Fire Dept. He was involved in a variety of Community Service, including Red Cross, United Way and Jerry Lewis Telethons. Herb was President of Local 3108 in Orlando for 7 years. After retirement, he started his own business’ Sun Data Phone Systems, with a fellow telephone employee. He loved playing golf with family and friends.
