

Howard “Howie” Hugh McFaden Collash, 61, of Orlando, FL, passed away on October 21, 2016, from sudden cardiac arrest. Howie died peacefully after putting up a good fight for twelve years. He has found peace with God and enjoyed life to the very end.
Howard was born in Jamaica on June 9, 1955. He graduated from Excelsior High School and continued on to receive a degree from Bramson ORT College, in the USA.
Howard worked with the Jamaican government for 20 years. Once in the US, he worked at Old Navy and Disney. He enjoyed playing football and dominoes and was also actively involved in the men’s choir and other outreach programs at Grace Bible Church.
Howard married Lorraine Ingrid Tomlinson on April 20, 1980. During those 36 years, the couple was blessed with two beautiful children, Howard Jr. and Lisa, and four grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents: Fitz Hugh Collash and Elizabeth Thompson, Howard is survived by his wife, Lorraine; son, Howard Collash Jr. and daughter-in-law Amy; daughter, Lisa Collash; grandchildren: William, Alexander, Tionna, and Howard III; brothers: Donahue “Michael” (wife, Barbara) and Paul Collash; sister, Melissa “Kay” Collash-Manahan (husband, Kwacedon); and other family and friends.
The funeral service for Howard Hugh McFaden Collash will be held at 11:00 am on November 2, 2016 at Grace Bible Church, with the visitation directly preceding the service at 10:00 am. Pastor Gene Pritchard of Grace Bible Church will be officiating.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
