GAINES JR, Hoyt William "Clyde", at age 77, born in Elberton, GA on Dec. 7, 1936, died Feb. 8, 2014 at the Mike Conley Hospice House after being diagnosed with Leukemia. Hoyt lived most of his adult life in Orlando and Clermont, FL. He was retired from the National Asbestos Workers Union Local 67, where he was a member and proudly worked for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrna LaRue Gaines; his parents Hoyt Sr. and Alma Gaines of Elberton, GA; and sisters Lavonia Todd and Betty Mullenix. He is survived by his sister, Sarah Wansley; son Roger (Lisa) Gaines; daughters Linda (John) Wood, and Tricia Gaines; grandchildren John Wood Jr., Krystina (Mark) Olson, Nicole (Anthony) Reed, and Barrett Gaines; and great-grandchild Jordan Rose Wood. Visitation will be held at 10:00am on Sat., Feb. 15, 2014 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am, Burial will follow.
