I miss you every day my MOM!  I can’t believe it’s been 3 years since you left us.  I miss your words of comfort, especially your hugs and the time we spent together.  I pray everyday for you, dad and Pedro hope you are all in the presence of Jesus and I’ll see you all someday.   I LOVE you!

Sitting on a nice day outside with this wonderful woman. From Cuba with a heart of gold but as bold as a bear. A fighter for friends and family never afraid to say what she felt. My friend Ileana was always happy to see me. Always trying to offer anything she had. This day we laughed and laughed as we texted Clara that we were taking the motorcycle out with mom on the back.  You will be greatly missed although you may sit beside all those we have lost we will sit and laugh again in the future.

My dearest and most beloved mami.  I could not have asked for a greater blessing than to have had you for a mom.  Your strength, courage , love, guidance and above all faith have been instrumental in making me the woman I am today.  I will miss our daily talks and you always asking me about the family and how my life is going.  I will especially miss what you always said to me when I came to see you.. “Mi hija precious Luz de mi vida”.  Those words will always be with me until I see you, dad and Pedro again.  I know you have always been a prayer warrior for all and I will continue that legacy for you.  Keep looking out for all your family in heaven and I LOVE YOU ALWAYS MOM!

Tia Ileana is gone from our lives here on earth but never from our hearts.  I am so glad that she was in my life growing up, and also in my adulthood.  She has always been there for me spiritually.  She always prayed for me, for my health recovery, often sending me prayers and best wishes with beautiful cards.  We talked in the phone often, and was so blessed to have spent Thanksgiving last year with her.  Ileana was a strong woman always smiling and making jokes.  She always made me laugh, even when I was sad.  When my mother passed away many years ago, tia Ileana became the mother figure in my life, and our relationship grew stronger and closer.  I will miss her dearly.  Not only I lost an aunt, I lost a second Mom.  Love you tia...always in my heart.   My most felt sympathies to the family, and special my dear cousin Clary.  May God give you peace and keep you strong.  Teresa (aka Nuni)
