J. Gary Hendricks, 73, of Orlando, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 after a 19 year battle with Parkinson's. A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his six siblings of the Cadiz, Kentucky region. He is survived by wife Pat of 45 years (12/22), two sons Tim (Kristi) of Apopka, Chad (Kristin) of Lake Mary and 6 grandchildren. He served for over 30 years in education first as a PE coach then in adult education administration before retiring from OCPS. He was a founding elder and a tireless servant at Westside Community Church since its birth in 1986. He served a four year term in the US Air Force. Flowers may be sent to Woodlawn Funeral Home for Mr. Hendricks' funeral service, which will be held on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at 11am.
