Jacqueline Celestin

She graduated from St. Rose De Lima and received an Education Degree. She married Frederick Luma on June 19, 1973.

She had a career as a Educator at Christ Roi and St. Rose De Lima from 1970 to 1985 in Haiti. She came to the United States in December 1985. When she came to the US she had a career in housekeeping for Dolphin Hotel at Disney World.

She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy of the Last Day and had a passion for reading and word puzzles.

Jacqueline is survived by her children, Immacula Luma, Roussette Luma, Alberto Luma, Roberta Luma Joseph, Rose Danie Luma, Ruth Morissette and Pastor Altes Laguerre; grandchildren, Daniele Eva Luma, Rushelle Renee Luma, Diderot Alberto Luma, Aubrie Lorfils, Doreen Lorfils, Harlie Joseph, Arden Joseph, Ardelle Joseph, Zander Morisset, Dalissha Laguerre, Lasheinda Laguerre and Guershom Laguerre. Her in laws, Alain Joseph, Wilensky Morisset, Loysse Luma, Delinx Pierre-Louis, Luigi Lorflis, and her siblings, Rose Celestin, Rita Celestin and Charles Celestin.

A visitation for Jacqueline will be held Friday, July 25, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Church of God of Prophecy, 4602 N Pine Hills Road, Orlando, FL 32808. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 4602 N Pine Hills Road, Orlando, FL 32808. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734. Repass will be held at Holy Trinity Reception Center, 1217 Trinity Woods Lane, Maitland, Florida 32851 immediately following the burail.
