Jim Reagan, 61, of Windermere, lost his 5 month battle with cancer on Saturday morning July 26th, 2014. He is survived by his newlywed wife, Teresa, and his two sons, Chris, 25, and Brian, 23. Jim owned and operated a local commercial cleaning business, coming from a legacy of executive roles at companies both small and large. He lived his life with humility, with the exception of his love for NY’s Yankees and Giants. Having grown up in North Brunswick, NJ with three brothers, Bob, Tom, Jack and sister Eileen, he went on to earn a degree from Trenton State University. It was in New Jersey that Jim got his great sense of humor that anyone could love. He never cared much about what others thought of him but there was hardly anyone that didn’t like him.
In 2000 his wife and the mother of their two sons, Lynn, lost her battle to cancer. At that time Jim stepped down from his executive roles to run a small business and raise his two sons. He would continue to be both mom and dad to them and raise them into two men. Lynn was always his first love and he never had a day go by that he didn’t think of her.As Jim ran his small business in Winter Garden, FL he would establish his position in the community as the friendliest person anyone would know. He had a reputation of always lightening the mood and never taking anything too seriously. Years later he would meet his now newlywed wife and he married her in April of 2014. Teresa and Jim had been together for almost 10 years. Now Jim rests peacefully after a hard-fought battle with cancer and leaves a legacy that will never be forgotten, a legacy of hard work, a fun attitude, and a love for those around him that was unconditional. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10:00 am at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734, (407) 293-1361.
