Johnson, Janet Purcell "" Born in St. Louis, MO in 1910, Janet Purcell Johnson died at Westminster Towers May 15, 2013. She moved to Orlando in 1915 and lived here for the rest of her 102 years. The last survivor of her 1928, Orlando High School graduating class, she became known as an artist, actress, singer, writer, professional, but most of all a faithful steward to her Broadway Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Micky) Purcell Clippard of Memphis, TN; step-daughters Carol Johnson Beaver of Daytona Beach Shores, FL and Judy Johnson Graney, Newtown, NY; grandchildren Tere Clippard Stevens, Darien, CT; James H. Clippard, III, New York, Shelly Clippard Levensohn, Los Angeles, Kathryn Clippard of Portland, OR and great grand children Harrison and Ava Stevens. She impacted the lives of all who knew her with her talent, strength, passion and humor. Graveside goodbyes are Wednesday at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
