Jean graduated from Church Home and Hospital Nursing School and received an RN from Church Home and Hospital Nursing School.
She married C. Barton Galloway, MD on December 18, 1954.
Jean had a career in Nursing for hospitals in three states and had a passion for her family, helping others, animals charitable work and letter writing.
She is survived by her husband, C. Barton Galloway, MD; son, Stephen T. Galloway and Daughter, Lori G. Chambers; granddaughter, Stephanie C. Galloway.
A memorial service for Jean will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM at Church of the Messiah, 241 N. Main Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787. Following the memorial service will be a committal service from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
