Kay and daughters, we too feel your pain, we too can understand your loss and your pain, but we know a God that gives us Hope that we will see our husbands again.  We just have to hold tight to God's promises, that He will never leave us nor forsake us.  We are constantly praying for you. Trust God His Word is TRUE. We love you ALL!!

To the family of Jerome Vital. I am Jerome's second cousin, Rena. His uncle was my grandfather. I was sadden when Josie told me of his passing. My memories of Jerome goes back to our childhood. My fondest memory was my wedding day. He was there and it meant a lot to me.

So sorry to hear of Jerome's passing. I worked with him in Orlando at Delta Airlines. He was a great man and it was my pleasure to have known him.

Our prayers and love are with your family. I'm known Jerome from our school days at Washington High or thought I knew him according to James . I remember him during prom times and games with Brisco and I thought Jerome was quiet and shy until James called me from Jerome house and asked me what was the name of the dance show on Saturday, I'm the person in L C that know everything, so James called me (Faye) and when I told him about Jerome being quiet and he told the family I could hear the love in the house the night before his services. I was deeply saddend to hear of the loss of my homeboy, Jerome. I have vivid memories of the many times we played together in my yard on See Street. We also  played on the Washington High School football team.  He was truly a man of good character. May God bless you and comfort you during this difficult time.

I was a childhood friend and neigbor of Jerome. I am sad to hear about his passing. We played many hours in Mr. Harold Lewis yard. He was very great high school football as was all of the Vital boys.I remember Jerome as a very kind an gentle person. I will keep his family in my prayers.

"Poppa Jay was a man I admired,respected,and loved. I learned so many Godly lessons from him with regards to being a Father and a Man.  Whatever work his hands found to do; he did it with all his might.  His integrity and assurance in himself was evident in every conversation we ever had. He believed his wife, daughters, grandchildren, and sons in law were among the brightest and most talented of mankind. His joy was infectous during Birthday Dinners, Holiday Gatherings, Super Bowl Parties and just common weekend or weekday visits.  He was always always Happy to be in the presence of his family.  I am going to miss my Friend and Father in his physical prescence but I am not without you because your spirit lives on in Mama Kay, Shana, Hannah, Jacob, Raymond, Shannon, RJ,Justin, and me.  I appreciate and am thankful for the life you shared with all of us.  In the immortal words of Poppa Jay...'Sho Nough' "

Jerome, my Brother-in-law you loved the game of dominoes so much you were willing to teach me, and we played every weekend at your home, Kay would make gumbo and the night was just beginning. When you married into our family it was complete. You brought so much to our family your culture, the foods from Louisianna, so many things. Kay, my neices and their families I am so sorry for our lost, I am here for you all, Jerome you will be missed so much.

Jerome, my Brother-in law. You taught me to play dominions he enjoyed the game so much and was willing to teach me how to play we played every weekend at their home. Jerome brought so much to our family his culture and the many dishes of food. You are greatly loved and will be missed just as much. When you and Kay married our family couldn't have been more complete. Thanks for sharing the many years with us!!!

I met Jerome when we worked together at Super Foods and his family and my became friends. I have many wonderful and fond memories of the times we shared during our ride to and from work. I'm glad were friends and he will truly be missed.

We have had the pleasure of knowing Jerome since the time of our children's marriage. He was always happy and cheerful when our families fellowshipped together. We knew him to be low keyed, gentle and an asset to his family. Our sincere sympathy and love goes out to his lovely wife Kay,Shannon and Raymond, Shana and Anthony and his dear grandchildren. We are so sorry to learn of Jerome's passing. He and our brother Robert were the best of friends from the Air Force. We have many wonderful memories of time shared together as families. I met Jerome in 1972 when I married into the Mercer Family. I knew when I met Jerome I had made a friend for life. I loved Jerome like a brother and will truly miss him. Rest in peace, My Brother.
