

Recently he was battling serious medical issues, this showed his courage and how he faced challenges in life with a smile. Despite the pain, Jerrell came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. Throughout Jerrell’s life he was a truck driver and a heavy machinery technician
Jerrell is survived by his beautiful wife of 30 years Gertrude (Gertie) Bowman who he adored. He was a proud father to his two sons; Jerrell Jr. of Orlando, Florida and Jamarr of Arlington, Texas. They inherited his passions for basketball, cars and speed. Jerrell Jr. loves to keep up with overseas basketball while Jamarr loves cars and speed, he’s now a high speed technician. His brother Michael (Mike) Bowman and family. He was also blessed with adorable grandchildren. He was also loved By His Step Children and other Family Members.
He is preceded in death by his mother; Connie (Doll) Bowman and his father; Jerrell (J.W) Willis Jordan.
Jerrell cherished his family. His positive energy was contagious and he will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him. Jerrell’s favorite saying was: “ All the way live".

A visitation for Jerrell will be held Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734. A memorial service will occur Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734. A reception will occur Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734.
