

Joan Brindle, 82, of Orlando, FL, passed away on May 12, 2025. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on January 29, 1943. Joan graduated from Taunton High School and received a Bachelor's of Science from Northeastern University and a subsequent Masters of Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College. She was married to Robert Brindle on September 8, 1962. Joan had a career in nursing and was a Licensed Practical Nurse and also had a career in Law Enforcement from which she retired after 30 years of service at the Taunton Police Department in Massachusetts. She was a member of the Army National Guard, as well as the West Orange Women's Association, and had a passion for the arts, travel, reading great mystery novels, puzzles, playing cards with her friends and spending time with her family. She was survived by her husband Robert; children, Scott( Lisa) Brindle , Lynne(Todd) Croteau , and Karin(Tom) Meehan; a loving granddaughter in which she adored Sydney Croteau; a brother Stanley Gay, Jr. She is predeceased by her parents and a her brother John Gay. In lieu of a service. The family will be having a Celebration of Life in June for her family and friends.
