

John Marvin Corbett of Windermere, FL (formerly a resident of Midland, Michigan) went peacefully home to be with Jesus on June 26, 2017. John, a faithful husband to Anna Rose (Dutcher) Corbett recently celebrated his 65th wedding anniversary in the company of his beloved extended family. He was a senior research chemist for 33 years at Dow Chemical Company in Midland, Michigan and Granville, Ohio before retiring in 1985 and moving to Florida.
John and Ann lived in Florida for over 30 years, most recently in the Windermere area. John was blessed to be surrounded by loving neighbors in Silver Woods and was also a part of the fellowship of believers at First Baptist Church/Orlando. John and Ann raised 4 children and pointed each to a life in Christ. Steven and Lisa (Corbett) Bacon reside in the Orlando area. Sons Jon and Dan live in Ohio and Kentucky respectively. John (Poppy) is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A memorial celebration of his life will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida on Thursday, June 29, 2017 with a Visitation at 1:00 and Service at 2:00. While Dad will forever be missed on the Earth, he is now part of the throng of witnesses gathered around the throne of Christ…forever.
