John C. Panella Jr, 70, of Gotha, Florida passed away on July 25, 2017. He was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania on February 27, 1947 to John Carmen Panella Sr and Rosemarie Manthy. John was an IT systems administrator for Westgate Resorts, a veteran of the United States Navy, and a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Winter Garden, Florida. He loved photography, cruising with his wife, and watching football, specifically the Steelers.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Carmen Panella, Sr. John is survived by: his mother, Rosemarie Panella; loving wife of 48 years, Barbara Panella; son, John Panella; daughters, Jackie Icaza and Lisa Panella; sisters, Jane Santini, Joyce Panella, and Jody Panella; and grandchildren, Alexander Ushiro, Ramon Icaza III, Desiree Lindenauer, and Anna Panella.
A visitation will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. A funeral mass will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church in Winter Garden, Florida on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00am.
John will be remembered for being a loving, wonderful, kind man who was extremely proud of his family.
