He was born in La Ceiba, Honduras on April 12, 1946.
He married Maria R. Castillo on September 20, 1969.
Julio had a passion for vacationing in Honduras almost every year and the New York Mets!!
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria, children, Julio A Castillo, Jr. and Claudia J. Nichols; grandchildren, Miguel Cardenas, Selina Martineau, and John Martineau, IV; his great grandchildren, Milena Cardenas, Lily Martineau, and John Martineau V; his sisters, Nellie Bays and Alicia Harper and cousin, Armando Orellana.
A visitation will be held on December 22, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, located at 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
The funeral service will follow on the same day from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the same location.
A committal service is scheduled for December 22, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734.
