Lance Dustin Burguiere

On Saturday, June 28th, our hearts were shattered by the tragic and unexpected passing of Lance Burguiere. Lance was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, architect as well as an amazing friend. He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Soph, and their two beautiful boys, Samai and Vannak, as well as a baby boy coming November 2025.

Lance also built an expansive career at Forum Architecture and was deeply rooted in the Central Florida design community. A proud graduate of both the UCF Architecture program and UF CityLab-Orlando, he was not only a dedicated professional but also a passionate advocate for thoughtful design in the region he called home.

He then became partner at Mimico Design. Though his time there was brief, Lance made a profound impact—bringing clarity, enthusiasm, and a collaborative spirit that shaped every project he touched.

He was always working hard on his house projects and spending quality time with his family -- making lasting memories. His sudden passing has left a deep void in their lives and the lives of many, but his legacy of love and strength lives on in his family and all who knew him.

A graveside service for Lance will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734.
