She was born in Flat Ridge, Virginia on July 18, 1931. Margaret graduated from Bluefield College, University of Richmond, and New Orleans Theological Seminary, earning a Master's Degree in Religious Education. She was married to Rev. Orrin Morris on June 14, 1954.
Margaret was employed and volunteered as an educator in many capacities, including as a teacher's aide in special education classes and as an instructor of English as a Second Language classes. She had a passion for gardening, growing vegetable gardens in almost every place she lived. Later in life, she honed her drawing skills at her husband's art studio, and she created and sold a number of wildflowers sketches.
She was survived by two sons (Jonathan and Bryan), two daughters-in-law (Beth and Julie), three grandchildren (Sarah, Aubrey, and Kevin), and two great-grandchildren (Cora and Miles.)
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on November 8, 2025 at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL
