Marian Joyce Pike, 90, of Orlando, Florida peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013. She was born on November 8, 1922 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Joseph and Anna Funk. Marian was the school lunch room manager at Shenandoah Elementary School, and retired after twenty-two years with the Orange County Public School System. Marian loved to read and play cards. Every Friday evening was "card night", where she was surrounded by family, love and laughter. Marian was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, Clarence A. (Curly) Pike. She is survived by her sister, Jean Tolson, and brother, John Funk, her four children; Joyce Heath, Betty Salvas (Hank), Edward Pike (Mary), Catherine Hughes (Bill). Marian has eight grandchildren; Marla Singletary (Tance), Melanie Stroman, Jenny Hastings (Steve), Eddie Pike, Chris Pike (Kim), Anne Swingle (Allen), Andy Hughes, and Michael Pike, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home with a service to follow at 3:00 p.m.
