She was widowed on December 4, 1988, she and Louis Eugene Thomasson were married on September 7, 1968.
Marjorie was a family caregiver and homemaker, and her passions were her grandchildren, family, friends, gardening, and crafts.
She is survived by her children, Bearl B. Cox, Tammy Lynn Cook, Louis Eugene Thomasson, Jr., and William Thomasson; her grandchildren, Logan Corkill, Dustin Cox, Amy Cox, Jennifer Cox, Richard Cox, Jr., Samantha Dorsey, Melissa Dorsey, Trisha Dorsey, Nikki Hartsfield, Sabrina Hartsfield, Erika Bure, Kacey Bure, Kayla Stanford, Annabelle Thomasson and Hawkin Thomasson, Jessica McMahon and Joshua Kincade; 16 great grandchildren and her brother and sisters, Mabel Stokes, Ray Wood, and Carolyn Hall. She was preceded in death by her children, Richard Dean Cox and Penny Lynn Cox and her siblings, Robert Wood, James Wood, Betty Galloway and Nell Barna.
