Mark R. Thomas passed to eternal rest on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Mark was born July 10, 1956 in Orlando, Florida. He was a graduate of University of Georgia and spent his career in sales. Mark was generous, kind and loving giving his time for seven years to Special Olympics Golf. He was a former president of Skycrest Neighborhood Assn. and a Freemason.
Mark was a member of the First Baptist Church of Orlando. He was known to make up songs for all his children and wife. He loved animals, was a great fisherman, guitar player and had a beautiful voice. He was a man of faith and family.
He is survived by his wife, Celia Thomas; son, Garett Thomas (Kristen); daughters, Jill Tucker, Nicole Lacina (Tom), Sarah Ashdale (Joe), Jennifer Thomas (Jacob) and eleven grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Section A, Gotha, Florida 34734. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Special Olympics.
