Marlin Lee (Freeland) Bushur, age 88, of Tavares, Florida passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. She was born in Fairmont, West Virigina on January 12, 1937, to parents, Charles W., Jr. and Margaret (Curtis) Freeland.
She married Kermit Bushur on January 17, 1997. Marlin worked for the Orlando Chamber of Commerce and then went on to work with Pat Williams as his executive assistant with the Orlando Magic. She also was a coordinator for OMYF. She had a passion for her family especially her grandchildren, cooking, traveling and sightseeing, her strong religious beliefs; and listening to gospel music.
Marlin is survived by her husband, Kermit; children, Jimmy and his wife, Tonja Orr, Billy and his wife, Theresa Orr, Bobby and his wife, Mary Orr and Dawn and her husband, Scott White; stepchildren, Steven and his wife, Ginger Bushur and Heather and her husband, Mike Lindamood; 16 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Charles W Freeland III and sister-in-law Lois J Freeland plus 3 nieces and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Sarah Taylor.
