Marvin Clarence Leininger

Marvin was the spiritual head of our family. He was a righteous man of God, witnessing to anyone who would listen, leading them to accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. He loved talking about the Lord and was deeply involved in many Bible study groups. He had a great passion for hunting and was quite successful. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing and being with family and friends. He was employed by Florida Power Corporation (now Duke Energy) for 35+ years and also did tree trimming work on the side.

Marvin was a devoted husband, always loving, and a perfect example of Christ’s love for His Church. His friend, Ben, told me at our wedding that there was nothing I could do to get him upset. He was right.

Marvin was a selfless, loving and encouraging father. He was an affectionate, playful and inspiring grandfather/great grandfather.

As a friend, he was closer than a brother and would help anyone in need.
