Mary Jane Thomas was born in Martin Tennessee to parents George Knox Murphy and Virginia Lee Moss Murphy. The family moved to Orlando in the 1920ʼs joining Murphy relatives that had settled here in 1880. Mary Jane Murphy married A.J. Thomas Jr. of Orlando and she is survived by their children: Daughters Linda Beery (Lloyd) and Dorian Harris and son A.J. (Tres) Thomas III, (Teddi). Together with Granddaughters Maranatha Beery and Elisabeth Beery
Hanckel. Grandsons Thomas Beery, Jason Harris, Jamie Harris, Chris Thomas, A. J. Thomas IV and eleven great grand children. We are assured by the scriptures of eternal life through Jesus Christ and Mary Jane had this foundation of faith as written: “For I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed unto Him until that Day.” II Timothey 1:12
