Maya Bizri was born on October 23, 1996 in Port Huron, Michigan to parents, Adnan and Donna Bizri. God called Maya to Heaven on June 11, 2021. She passed away after complications after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
Maya was a special child who was able to light up your universe through her endearing personality, her constant hugs and the many, many times throughout the day that she would tell you how much she loved you. Maya’s beautiful smile from the moment she woke until she went to sleep made you realize that she was truly a gift from God meant to be shared with the world. John 9:3 Jesus answered but it was so that the works of God might be displayed and illustrated through Him. This passage clearly reflects how God’s love shone through Maya all of her days. We will miss you deeply every day and cherish all of your memories until we are together again.
In addition to her parents, Maya is survived by her fraternal twin Farrah; her sisters Mona and Hannah Bizri; her beloved niece Lexi Grady; her maternal grandparents, Donald and Joan Tarlton of Monroe, NC; her Uncle Gary and his wife, Kathy of China Grove, NC and a very special cousin Ashlie Hancock and her husband, Jeff, also of NC . In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Maya’s name may be made to the Russell Home for Atypical Children

BROKEN CHAIN
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful loving memories.
Your love is still with us.
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing will be the same;
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
