Merlin "Skip" F. Davis, 77, of Orlando, Florida passed away on October 6, 2011. He was born on December 19, 1933 in Osceola, Iowa to the late Francis E. and Evelyn M. (Landis) Davis. Skip was the owner and operator of a Golden Corral. He was an avid watcher of CNN and had a passion for politics. Skip also enjoyed woodworking, fixing anything and everything and loved playing a good hand of cards. All of the kids in the family were loved dearly by Skip. Survivors include his beloved wife of 53 years, Lois Davis; son Brian Davis; daughters, Valerie Sivard and Denise Burns; sister, Eva Lou Wetherington; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Woodlawn Funeral Home on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.. Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2011 at the funeral home.
