Monica Lynn Hajec

Monica Lynn Hajec, 39, of Orlando, Florida went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. She was born on August 17, 1984 in Cleveland, Ohio but grew up and lived in Orlando. She graduated from Cypress Creek High School in 2002 and went on to attend Valencia College.

Monica loved the time spent with her son Jaxson more than anything in the world. She always put family first and especially enjoyed holiday gatherings. Monica valued her time spent worshiping at Discovery Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Arnold and Eunice Capps and Ervin and Gerry Hajec; cousin and best friend Brittany Dykes; aunt Karen Dykes; and Jaxson’s father James Stogner.

Monica is survived by her son Jaxson Stogner; parents David and Kathy Hajec; sister and brother-in-law Melanie and George Ressopoulos; nephew and nieces Thomas and Katerina Ressopoulos, Makayla and Leia Dykes; cousins Jason Dykes and Jessica Helms; uncles and aunts James and Anita Hajec, Darlene and Skip Stone; and many more relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank friends and family for the care and compassion they’ve shown since Monica’s unexpected passing. They will notify loved ones when a Celebration of Life service is scheduled to remember Monica’s warm heart, contagious smile, and the light she added to our lives.
