

STRAHM, MYRTLE S., 97, of Orlando, FL went to be with her Lord on Nov. 13, 2011 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 1, 1914 in Spencerville, Ohio, to the late Jacob and Glenzola Stelzer, the third daughter of a family with four daughters and one son.
In 1945 Myrtle and her husband and three daughters moved from Lima, Ohio to Sarasota, Florida and resided there for 37 years until their retirement in 1984 when they relocated to Orlando, Florida.
Myrtle, Richard and Joyce joined First Baptist Orlando in 1984 and always looked forward to attending their Sunday school class and Sunday Church Service and seeing their many friends. They also looked forward to attending the Easter and Christmas programs each year. Myrtle also enjoyed being a part of the tape ministry for over 20 years.
Myrtle was loved by all who knew her and touched so many lives with her kindness and giving nature.
She leaves behind two daughters, Judy Ladin (Michael) and Nan Keys (Richard); three granddaughters Kelly Howard, Leslie Roberts (Steve) and Laura Bahor (Christoper) , three great-granddaughters Ashley Hall (Daniel), Tiffany Bieber, Marcella Roberts, and one great-great grandson, Dominick Hall; two nephews Harold Stelzer,Jr.and Ralph Stelzer,and one niece Joan Starr and many other relatives whom she dearly loved.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Richard K. Strahm in June, 1999 and her daughter Joyce Ann in May, 2003; her brother, Dr. Harold (Grace) Stelzer; her three sisters, Mildred (Ora) Leis, Mary (Homer) Stallter and Mabel (Joe) Wright; her nephew Robert Leis, and niece Jan Stallter.
A Celebration of Myrtle's life will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Gotha on Friday, November 18th at 11:30am with Rev. Ragan Vandegriff, III First Baptist Church Orlando officiating.
Myrtle's family would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the loving care and devotion she received from all of her caregivers at the Dr. Phillips Assisted Living Facility and to the dedicated staff of the Hospice of the Comforter.
