Patrick Joseph Hennessey

Patrick Joseph Hennessey passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 after a heroic battle with lung cancer at Orlando Regional Medical Center with his family, he was 59. Patrick was born on September 2, 1955 in Holyoke, MA to parents Francis and Ann Hennessey and later married Vivian Arenas on May 28, 1983 in Bainbridge, GA.

Patrick retired from Disney where he worked as Golf Course Superintendent for 30 years. Patrick was a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He had the kindest heart and everyone loved him. He had so many friends and touched so many lives. Patrick enjoyed fishing, golf, and coaching and watching his son’s play sports. Patrick is survived by his wife Vivian, his three sons, Patrick, Ryan and Michael, his two daughter in laws, Ashton and Courtney, and granddaughters Rylee and Leighton. He was survived by his seven brothers, Francis, Thomas, Michael, Jack, Joe, Jim and Dan, his three sisters, Mary, Ann and Kip, and many other friends and family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in the chapel at Holy Family Catholic Church (5125 S Apopka Vineland Rd. Orlando, FL 32819) from 4:00pm-8:00pm. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Holy Family at 11:00am. Patrick will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorium Funeral Home & Memorial Park (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd. Gotha, FL 34734). A reception will be held at Holy Family following all services on Friday.
