

Peggy Joyce Bostick Reed Curtis, 86, of Winter Garden, Florida, passed away on December 23, 2015. Born on May 29, 1929, in Stephenville, Texas, Peggy is survived by her children WV Reed, Jr. and Debra Lucas; six grandchildren, Joshua Valenzuela, Jeffrey Reed, Sean Lucas, Heather Lucas Zabinski, Tom Reed, and Allison Reed; and five great grandchildren, Kathan, Zy, and Brayton Valenzuela and Cooper and Ellie Reed. Peggy is preceeded in death by her first husband, WV Reed, Sr., her daughter Rebecca Valenzuela, her second husband Hewitt C. Curtis, and her granddaughter, Angela Valenzuela. Peggy’s graveside service will be on January 29 at 10:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida.
Peggy grew up and lived in Texas for many years. She moved to Florida in the late 1970’s with her second husband, H.C. Curtis. She worked in the insurance industry and was a retiree of Hartford Insurance Company.
Peggy had a sparkling personality and loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved dancing, traveling, going to the movies, shopping, and listening to music; especially Frank Sinatra! She loved to go dancing on Saturday nights at the Moose Club and was a loyal member of the Women of the Moose for many years.
Peggy lived her life to the fullest and most of all, she loved her family! She was cherished by her family and friends and will be greatly missed!!!
