He was born on May 5, 1932 in Elmwood Park, Illinois to the late Louis & Corinne (LaFond) Weis.
He enlisted in the Army during the Korean War. When he came home, he received his Bachelor's degree in Economics from Elmhurst College in Illinois.
He moved to Florida in 1958 where his beloved wife, Greta, hired him at Graybar Electric when he applied for a job and she was the resident interviewer. They dated for six years, and have been married for a beautiful 56 years together. In that time, he received his Masters Degree at Rollins College, Winter Park, FL.
By trade, Phil excelled as Quotation Manager at Graybar Electric Company where he worked for 27 years.
In his free time, you might have found him working in the yard, busy on the computer, driving his beloved Porsche and most of all, taking a nap. He always made time for a nap during the day. He was also a Past President of the Orlando Citrus Region Porsche Club.
His loving family misses him terribly, and will continue to remember the joys and the laughter he brought them every day with his sense of humor.
