Phyllis A McCabe

She was born in Augusta, Michigan on October 1st, 1934 to the late Grant & Velma (Miller) Bushrow.

She married Francis D. McCabe, Sr. and faithfully supported his United States Army career as they raised four children together. She devoted her whole heart to her family, and maintained close, long-term friends, especially her best friend from high school.

Phyllis loved to travel; and, moved to Florida after her dear husband’s passing in 2013.

When she was at home, she collected precious items such as her beautiful Nativity sets that could fill two rooms with glory. Her family will remember her fondness for choir music, and her need for a good cookie every night after dinner.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband & her beloved daughter, Anne Nottingham (Cliff).

She is survived by 3 sons, Francis “Mick” McCabe, Jr. (Margit), Robert McCabe (Debbie) and James McCabe (Susan); her brother, Robert Bushrow (Ellie), her sister, Roberta Fink; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida.
